Multiple Income Streams

Hi there!

I’ve taken some time to think. I’ve been trying to create multiple income streams for years, and not much has worked. However, a few things have worked ok-ish. Of the successes, I’ve sold some crochet patterns on Etsy, I’ve done real estate tax lien investing, and I’ve made a few dollars from gaming apps on my phone. I’m thinking that I can do these things in my spare time to make some extra cash.

Something that I’m actually fairly interested in is helping other people with the bit of knowledge I have about inflammation and food. I’ve actually managed to help a couple of people significantly with their health through a single tip or two. I’m thinking that I may turn my blogging towards anti-inflammation. Not only do I already have several posts on the subject, but I feel like I don’t really have much to write about if I’m just going off my daily life.

I have really enjoyed taking a major step back, though. My family is now my priority, whereas I tried to make a job equal to it for a long time. I am so much more relaxed knowing that I can put work down and away to focus on family, and it’s ok. Previously, I was trying to have daily goals of how much work to get finished, and that might work out well for one or two days, and then it would become way too much to focus on work AND family AND the house (because I opted to never get a babysitter as I somehow thought I could do it all).

Plus, taking time to rest and basically ignoring the options for making money has definitely increased the quality of any ideas I have for making money. According to the law of attraction (that I’ve been really into learning about lately), ignoring/letting go of things is a major component to manifesting. A watched pot never boils, and life is apparently the same way.
