I’m trying something new, and I don’t even know if it’s going to stick or not. It could totally just be a today thing.
I woke up about 4 AM today. I was planning to wake up at 4:30 anyway, but I woke up for the bathroom and decided to go ahead and stay awake. I’ve tried waking up early before, but I find that it tends to wake my toddler up as well. But, I’ve been reading/watching a lot of info on the Mennonites/Amish the last couple of days, and I found the morning schedule of an Amish Mom who got up to cook and clean at 3 AM. Then she had time for a nap from 6-(almost)8 AM. I’m hoping that this waking up super early and then napping will have me make any noise while my son’s in deep sleep and then have me asleep until he actually wakes up.
So far, I’m drinking coffee and writing this blog post in the quiet, so, so far, so good.
