Making More Laundry Detergent

Hi!

I am a stay-at-home-mom. One of the things that I do to help with that is to make my own laundry detergent. I have a post where I share my full recipe.

But, today, I didn’t have all of those ingredients, but I do have some detergent that I got for free since the bag had a hole in it, and I’m going to use the ingredients I do have to stretch that detergent.

Here, I have baking soda and whitening powder (which can be substituted for borax). The blue stuff in the coffee can is the free laundry detergent.

I mixed together 2 cups of the detergent, 1 cup of the whitening powder, and 1/2 cup of the baking soda. And, voi la, semi-homemade laundry detergent.
