What I’m Doing *updated 9-8-22*

Good morning!

Ah. It’s a glorious Thursday. That means tomorrow is Friday. Yay!

But even as I say that, I know that being Friday means nothing to a lot of you. I worked for nearly a year at a job where weekends were the WORST because everyone with any know-how took off, and Monday was a breath of fresh air.

And now, it still doesn’t mean much because I work at home.

I think, after much searching, I have found a game plan for my work. I love tax lien investing, but it only requires an hour or less every few months. For the most part, I am going to be working on this blog (and everything that goes along with that).

On that note, this blog has been about whatever it is I am doing. I began it with the intention of writing about ways to be frugal and help the planet. I still enjoy thinking about those things , but I’ve been moving away from them. And I’m sorry. I do want to keep talking about whatever I am doing, but I do want to get back to my original intentions.

I’ve been talking a lot about passive income lately, and I believe that that is a frugal source of income. It doesn’t save money that you see, but it does save time, and time is money after all. I recently heard someone say that the most productive way to work was 5 hours a day; 2 hours in the morning, 2 in the afternoon, and 1 hour in the evening to wrap up loose ends and make a plan for the next day. And weekends were mandatory. This was a 25-hour-week schedule. The trick is to work hard at work and completely shut off when you’re not at work. I tried this 5-hour day today, and it worked out well. If I can keep it up, things will go great!

So, now that I’ve figured out what I’m doing, here’s an updated version of “what all I’m doing.”

1. I’m blogging- this is where I can talk about my own life as well as do some affiliate marketing (non-coffee)

2. Katie’s Koffee– this is my coffee merchandise store on Etsy. I have my own merch, but I also use some coffee-related affiliate marketing.

3. I run my house as a SAHM

4. I invest in tax liens (this is a lucrative opportunity that I plan to have become my main focus by 2030)

5. I have an app called Atlas Earth and an app called CashWalk (code:PJNLP) in the background of my phone. These only make a few cents a day, but they also require very little work.

Yes, that’s still a lot, but I only pay attention to the top three things the majority of the time. And I’m so much more organized that it all feels manageable. Be sure to stay tuned for more.
