I’ve Begun Accepting Donations

Hey y’all,

I’ve begun accepting donations on my site. It feels like I’ve applied to 20 billion jobs, but since I don’t drive and am limited by that in both location and scheduling (as well as the whole “let’s not make that poor girl ride a bike” thing), I have been unable to find a job since quitting my retail job. If people do not want me to commute to work, I won’t.

This will be nice because I can focus on my interests. And I have so many interests. I garden; I crochet; I sew; I budget; I write; I weave, and on and on.

Speaking of, one thing that I found that I can do well is to create crochet patterns. Like this

The problem with that is that only a very niche group wants those. The majority of people cannot crochet, and I’m not selling a finished product. And the people who can crochet may not want my patterns. I may go back to this just because I enjoy the creative process. So keep an eye open for that.

For the time being, just know that I would really like to get to know you. As of today, I haven’t talked to a single one my followers. That’s so sad, because there are over 300 people who follow me and many who don’t. I would love to talk to you. Even just a “hi” in the comments would be nice. You’re beautiful, and I would like to see that beauty.

But back to the whole donation thing- The only regular jobs I have ever had were pretty low-paying and didn’t allow me the time to be a well-rounded person. Although they were nice in the sense that they guaranteed a paycheck, they didn’t give me any other perks. They did allow me to get out of the house and see people, but I can do that without a standard job. I live in a first-world country, and I suppose it’s time for me to demand that I be treated like it. I’m willing to work hard, but when I’ve tried that, others have insisted that I stop. So, I’m going to try a different approach. Please support this blog and allow me to “crack the code” on this whole adulting thing.
