It’s not too often that the internet cannot guide you on something. As I’ve talked about, I’m in the heavy planning stage for my earthbag home. I’m planning to dig into the earth and have the bottom half of the house in the ground. I’m sure this has been done (or something very similar), but the internet doesn’t know about it. I can find info about fully earth-encased houses that aren’t earthbag, and there’s info about above-ground earthbag houses. What I’m wanting to do hasn’t been talked about that I can find, so I’m just going to wing it
