As you know if you read this blog, I am a stay-at-home mom. For years, I was a stay-at-home wife, and it was not by choice, sadly. Several years ago, I had a stroke. Although I know and I am very capable of working, I have been unsuccessful at convincing others that I am capable of working.
I’ve been looking for something for a while now to be able to bring money in. I feel like I’m putting a lot of pressure on my husband to be the sole breadwinner in the house. I think I finally figured out a couple ways to bring at least a few dollars in. I am now and Amazon affiliate, and I had the idea of cooking up brisket and selling it.
I’m really excited for the brisket idea. My husband is going to help me transport it, and it if it goes well, we can eventually make it into an actual business. If that happens, he might be able to stop working and focus all on the business.
I’ve had money-making schemes before, but never have I had an idea that had so much potential. This began as me trying to find a way to make brisket at home, because my husband was buying it at a restaurant, and that was way too expensive. I found out that I am actually really good at making brisket. Then I realized how easy it was to make and how good it was, and I asked myself why I wouldn’t try and sell it. So, this weekend is the big kickoff. I’m cooking a brisket right now, and I plan to cook two more tomorrow to give away as free samples to a whole bunch of people. Hopefully, they ask if I will do that some more in the future.
