Hey y’all,
If you haven’t heard of elimination communication, it’s basically infant potty training. Plenty of people in other cultures practice infant potty training successfully all the time. This is something I’ve been wanting to try since just before my son was born a few weeks ago, and I just haven’t until now because I’ve been trying to keep him alive #firsttimemom.
Anyway, I decided to give it a go today just to see what would happen, and he peed in the big-boy potty the very first time I took him! I was one proud mama. He hasn’t done it again yet, but it’s also only been a few hours. Part of me realizes that he needed to go to the bathroom anyway and all I did was hold him over the toilet, but I still couldn’t be prouder.
I don’t know a ton about this, so I can’t teach you really, I’m sorry. I still need to figure this out myself. But here’s some solidarity if you need it.
