Hey y’all,
I’ve perfected my GF flour recipe! I’ve made GF flour in the past, but it was expensive and very starchy.
This flour is made entirely of whole foods, and it contains 12g of protein and 430 calories per cup of flour. That’s almost on par with wheat flour, but this is a healthier option for people who need to eat gluten-free (which I would argue is everyone, but that’s a different post).
All you need is 2 parts (by volume) GF oats and 1 parts brown rice. Use a blender/food processor to grind them up and sift the bigger pieces out. Mix and use.
That’s literally it. This is so simple compared to my previous recipe. Not that that recipe was difficult, but it had 4 ingredients instead of 2. Plus, this version is only $1.25/lb instead of $2/lb.
