Being on a very specific food plan can be a challenge through the holidays. Most of the food served at holiday gatherings is full of junk that’s not good for the body.
I wanted to eat healthy even at the holidays. I did fudge some and eat the “healthier” options available, but what really helped was bringing some healthy dishes.
For example, I brought a salad and my raw cranberry sauce to the Thanksgiving gathering with my family. While neither dish was fully devoured, both were enjoyed, and I still got to eat healthy food. Plus, I sneakily got people to eat healthier options, too!
That’s a win in my book! So, you may need to take a dish or two to parties, but if they’re fun dishes, you’ll feel so good when people enjoy them.
