Anti-inflammatory Salad Dressings

Hey y’all,

I came across a woman named Cara Brotman. She’s a raw vegan chef, and there’s an Curry Sauce that she makes that is to die for. I modified it slightly for a salad dressing, but it’s good on almost anything.

Indian Salad Dressing

-½ c cashews
-2 Tbsp broth
-2 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp cloves
-¼ tsp cumin
-2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
-2 Tbsp tamari
-1 Tbsp ginger
-garlic to taste
-chopped green onions (to garnish)

Whiz everything up in a blender.

I also modified the recipe for a more Asian flavor:

Chinese Salad Dressing

-½ c cashews (would probably be good with walnuts or pistachios)

-¼ broth

-2 Tbsp lemon juice

-2 Tbsp tamari

1 Tbsp ginger

-2 small cloves garlic

-chopped green onions (to garnish)

Whiz up in blender

These dressings are so good and flavorful, but many times I just want something simple. Usually, I just drizzle some olive oil and ACV or lemon juice on my salad.

Btw, salad before or alongside your food is a great way to get in veggies and fight inflammation.
