Hey y’all,
So, I accidentally did something really cool.
I’ve been eating a lot of pinto bean brownies with stevia to keep my weight up while I fight off this Candida. They’re good, but they’re getting old after eating 3 pans in 4 days. (Disclaimer: This is too many carbs for the first 3-4 days of your Candida Cleanse. Better yet, you might want to wait until week 2 to eat these.)
So, I took the brownie recipe and did a spin on it.
I came up with a Spice Cake that’s gluten-free, sugar-free, and high in Omega-3. This dessert is really good for Candida, but also for health in general.
Ingredients:
-2 cups (or 1 can) light-colored beans (I used soybeans)- all beans are high in lysine
-3/4 cup cashew pieces
-1/3 cup flax seed meal- this is high in the Omega-3, which is good for skin
-2 Tbsp oat bran (or any dry powder to help reduce moisture)
-2 Tbsp water
-1/2 cup stevia powder
-1 Tbsp ginger powder
-2 tsp cinnamon
-1 tsp ground cloves (cloves kill Candida)
-1/2 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Puree beans in blender with water (use more if needed, but as little as possible)
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Let cool and enjoy!
