Y’all! I am amazed!
I began my Candida Cleanse on Saturday (although technically it was after those brownies digested on Saturday night), and by Saturday afternoon, I could already see the signs of healing on my skin.
For those who aren’t aware, Candida is a type of yeast in the gut. When there’s too much of it, it can cause skin problems (which is why my eczema is so bad right now). Candida feeds on sugar, so I’m going on a complete sugar (even natural sugars) detox for a few days.
It’s been weird not having fruit, but I won’t argue with results. I thought it would take at least 24+ hours on this diet to see any kind of results, but in less than 12 hours, my eczema was less red and some spots were fading away.
I’m not really looking forward to another day of green leafies and chicken, but I’m excited to see how my skin continues to improve!
