Recently I proclaimed that I was starting a Whole30. I started it on Sept. 15th, so it should stretch until Oct. 15th.
Well, in the interest of full-disclosure, I’ll tell you that I’ve begun taking my gummy vitamins again. Many wouldn’t even worry about it because they’re vitamins, but they’re wrapped in sugar, so they’re not technically allowed during a Whole30.
I stopped them for a few days, and I was planning to lay off of them for the whole month, but then I found out that…
I’m pregnant!
Before this, I was on the fence about kids, and I definitely wasn’t planning on having any for another couple years, at least, but then I discovered this. I’ve been smiling all day.
As far as my eczema goes, I’m glad that I’ve already figured so much out about my triggers and what helps. Even though my skin isn’t currently clear, it’s healing, and this baby is going to need my undivided attention, so I don’t need to be worrying about myself so much.
On that note, I’m thinking about downsizing my rabbit fluffle to just the one male. I seem to have gotten some turds as females. I was planning to use them as a food source, but all they’ve been good for is pooping. One rabbit can poop just as well as three, so we’re going to do that.
For details, one female refuses to get pregnant, and the other either won’t get pregnant or is a horrible mother. Females also like to dig, so I don’t like putting them in the outdoor playpen. It doesn’t have a bottom, and they like to escape. The male (whom I named Buster) stays where he’s put.
If I ever do plan to try and breed rabbits again, I’ll know more of what to expect, but I really don’t think I will. The rabbits have a stay-of-execution until Sept. 20th (to make sure the situation is what I think it is), but then I’m downsizing. (Yes, I am going to kill the bunnies. I was planning to kill their babies.)
