Y’all! I have some amazing news!
I just harvested the first tomato from my garden!
I’ve been trying to grow tomatoes for two years, at least a couple times each year, and it finally happened!
Tomatoes are supposed to be super easy, but I’ve learned that they like to be spoiled. The ground around my house is too hard, and there’s lots of shade, but I finally did it.
When I think about it, however, tomato sauce is really cheap, and that’s the only way we eat tomatoes. I don’t know if I’ll do this too much longer, but I wanted to do it at least once.
For now, I’m just really excited to have a tomato.
