Y’all know how I like to get grass/weeds from a local field to feed my rabbits. They love it, and it’s free.
I still do that, but I also accidentally grew a lot of rabbit food.
This is a 2′ by 4′ plot of chicory. I like using chicory root for a coffee substitute, so I grew 2 of these plots.
It turns out that the chicory greens taste rather powerful (terrible). I don’t wanna eat them, but the rabbits love it.
Every few days, I cut a bunch and give it to them and watch them chomp it up. It’s weirdly satisfying to watch a rabbit eat.
