I finished it!
This took longer than I expected, but I finally finished my summer shirt.
It started life as one of my husband’s old t-shirts (he’s 6’3″). I wanted to do something fun with it rather than just cutting it up into rags, so I sewed it into a shirt for me.
No, this isn’t nice enough to wear out… Except maybe to get groceries… But I’m still working on my skills. Actually, I’ve never made a successful shirt before, so I say it’s a success. This shirt is definitely nice enough to wear around the house and garden, so that’s what I’ll be doing.
No matter what, it was fun, and I got to practice my sewing.
